Electric hoist wire ropes corrosion protection
Wire rope is an important part of the wire rope electric hoist, the sun and rain will cause the steel wire rope to corrode. In particular, the steel wire ropes are used under harmful gas and harsh environment will be more seriously damaged. There are two ways to prevent wire ropes corrosion:
One is diligent oil. For wire rope electric hoists which are often used, the wire rope lubrication is essential.
Second, in poor environment and relative less used, should select special steel wire ropes such as galvanized and aluminized. These steel wire ropes are exposed to the atmosphere, galvanized or aluminized surfaces will form zinc hydroxide films and aluminum hydroxide films, which can effectively prevent the corrosion of the wire rope and prolong the service life of the wire rope electric hoist.
